The Bishop

The BishopThe Bishop moves diagonally as many spaces as you like. 

It can not move Up, Down, Right, or Left, ONLY Diagonally. So whatever color square a bishop is on at the beginning of the game, it wil be on that color the whole game.  It can move as few or as many squares diagonally as you want.

The bishop can attack and take a piece that is in it's path.  So if your opponent is in line with your bishop, you can take that piece.  If another one of your pieces is in line with your bishop, your bishop cannot go through your own piece.  It will have to stop in a square before it.  If a square within range is empty, the bishop can choose to move to that square.
