The Queen

The QueenThe Queen is the strongest piece on the board.  It moves as many squares as you want in any direction. 

It can move Up, Down, Right, Left, or Diagonally.  It can move as few or as many squares as you want in one direction (You cannot turn, you must pick a single direction to move).

The queen can attack and take a piece that is on a square in it's path.  So if your opponent is in line with your queen, you can take that piece.  If another one of your pieces is in line with your queen, your queen cannot go through your own piece.  It will have to stop in a square before it.  If a square within range is empty, the queen can choose to move to that square.
